We are pleased to share that OLS has now attained official charitable status, enabling us to gratefully accept donations in the way that is most convenient for you. Contributions can be made directly to OLS by:

Our Livable Solutions (OLS) has entered into an agreement with the Community Foundation of Kingston & Area (CFKA) to create the “Our Livable Solutions Flow Through Fund”. This Fund will enable OLS to accept charitable donations, with CFKA holding the funds and issuing charitable tax receipts on behalf of OLS.

Information for donors who wish to make a larger gift through securities available through this link: https://cfka.org/gifts-of-securities-information/. The donor can then inform CFKA to direct the donation to “Our Livable Solutions Flow Through Fund”.

If donors would like to direct their funds to specific areas within OLS, such as land acquisition, operations, administration, OLS’s Dental Fund, etc they may indicate so when making their donation.

The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area strengthens our community by connecting the generosity of donors with the energy and ideas of people and charities addressing local community needs. Starting with endowment funds of $65,000 at our incorporation in 1995, CFKA now manages over $31.1 million (at December 31, 2022) in assets, which provides sustainable annual income for charitable grants. As of 2022, we have granted over $16 million, including more than $4.4 million to 36o+ local charities through our Community Grants program, to charities across KFL&A and beyond.
